Questions you
might have

+ Is this really free?

Yes — the core plugin will be free. We may offer a paid tier later for creators with enormous archives or high search volume, but the baseline plugin (unlimited posts, standard search) will always be free.

+ How does it handle podcast and video content?

We transcribe every episode and video using a high-accuracy speech model, then index the transcript. Search results jump to the exact timestamp of the answer — so readers can watch or listen from that moment.

+ Does it work with my existing theme?

Yes. We ship it as a Gutenberg block and a shortcode. Both inherit your theme’s typography and colors, and we expose CSS variables for when you want to override them.

+ Why are you building this?

Because we make Dewey — an enterprise answer engine for publishers — and the tech to do this well has never been available to independent creators. If enough of you want it, we’ll ship it.

+ When does it ship?

We’re collecting waitlist signups now to gauge interest. If demand is strong we’ll start a private beta in Q3 2026 and ship publicly the quarter after.

Want it when it ships?

We’ll email you once — when the plugin goes live.
